ApplicationS will open in February 2021
Each year, the Club provides one-time scholarship awards of at least $500 to eligible recipients. The number and final amount of awards each year will be determined by the Review Committee, per the annual budget as determined by the Treasurer and President.
The Scholarship Fund
Throughout the year, the Club raises funds through member activities and partnerships, from which the Club awards scholarships to eligible University of Florida students from the Upstate.

The Review Committee
Made up of UF alumni living in the Upstate who have volunteered to review and evaluate scholarship applications, the committee is dedicated to awarding a combination of need- and merit-based scholarships.
Before you take the time to apply, please read the following;
- Enrolled to attend the University of Florida next Fall as a Freshman
- Residence in the Upstate (Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, Spartanburg and Union counties)
Required Documents - You will be required to submit copies of the following:
- High School transcript
Timeline & Process
- May 1st - Deadline to submit application for Fall 2019 award
- June 1st - Recipients will be notified
The evaluation includes the application, the essay, and the candidate's overall body of work. During the evaluation process, members of the Committee may reach out to Candidates for more information.
