Now welcoming 2023-2024 Directors
The Upstate Gator Club® is an affiliated organization of the UF Alumni Association and exists to support the mission of teaching, research and service for the University of Florida. Volunteer service on the Upstate Gator Club® board requires about two hours a month for meetings and occasional events and active UF Alumni Association membership.
Directors-at-large are expected to serve a 1-year term beginning July 1 of this year through June 30th of the following year.
Officers (President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer) are expected to serve a 2-year term beginning July 1 of this year through June 30th of the following year.
To join the board, please review the following, then nominate yourself to the board by reaching out to us via email. You'll then be invited to attend the next monthly board meeting, during which you may be nominated & approved by the board.
Eligibility: All UF alumni, family, fans, and friends are eligible for board membership, so long as they:
Keep their UFAA membership current
Agree to abide by the Code of Conduct and disclose any conflicts of interest with the Club, the UFAA, or any other UF organizations
Attend monthly board meetings (1 hour) OR at least one networking event per quarter (when applicable
Attend at least 1 club event per quarter (monthly happy hour, wartch parties, volunteer events, etc.)

Join or renew your UFAA membership
Contact the board and declare your intent to join the board as a director-at-large. Please share with us any experience you have with the UFAA and/or other Gator Clubs, as well as any specific ways you'd like to contribute to Club functions such as communications, events, scholarships, merchandising, or operations.
