What is the Upstate, anyway?
Sometimes referred to as the Piedmont, Upstate South Carolina straddles the I-85 corridor between Georgia and North Carolina, and has a population of about 1.5M people as of 2020.
The region comprises 3 primary cities and their surrounding communities:
Greenville
Spartanburg
Anderson
As of 2023, the Club's operations are primarily within 20 miles of beautiful downtown Greenville.

Where do Upstate Gators play?
Popular recreational activities in the Upstate include:
Relaxing at any of several beautiful lakes - Jocassee, Keowee, Hartwell, Greenwood, and others tucked away in valleys of the Upstate
Taking in the fresh air at any of the beautiful state parks featuring walking paths, dog parks, mild-to-strenuous hikes, lookouts, and waterfalls
Enjoying scenic drives like the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway or US Route 276
Dining at local and regional restaurants featuring cuisines from many parts of the world
Exploring brewed beverages at coffee shops, cafes, breweries, taprooms and beer gardens throughout the area
