We are a Gator Club of the University of Florida Alumni Association based in Greenville, SC., but our territory reaches the Georgia and North Carolina borders, and even stretches down to Greenwood, SC! We're run by a board of volunteers and work closely with other Gator Clubs in the region to connect fans, friends, family and alumni throughout the year.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we organize local annual programming to promote the advancement of the University of Florida and its many initiatives, and fundraise as a way to support local students who enroll at the University of Florida, by conducting an annual scholarship award program.

The University of Florida Alumni Association was organized and chartered in 1906 by the first group of graduates from the Gainesville campus. Today, living alumni total over 450,000 and reside in every state and in more than 150 countries. The Gator Nation truly is everywhere!

First and foremost, welcome to the Gatorhood! Feel free to send us an email to introduce yourself, and/or join us at an upcoming event! Our group spans generations of Gators from every corner of the Gator Nation.

We welcome all Gators to help keep the Upstate Gator Club running! If you're passionate about the University of Florida and the Florida Gators, and are interested in joining us for a monthly meeting (1 hour), and willing to  help out with a variety of events, you may be a great fit for the Upstate Gator Club board! 

Get started:

1. Join/ renew your UFAA membership - all board members must be current members of the University of Florida Alumni Association. 

2. Once your membership is up-to-date, introduce yourself to us (if we haven't already met) and declare your interest to join the board as a director-at-large, and to volunteer in a select capacity.

3. Once the board can confirm your UFAA membership and declaration of intent, we will invite you to the next board meeting and admit you to the board as a "director at large" for a 1-year term, ending on the 30th day of June the following year.

Upstate Gator Club membership is available for current UF students, UF alumni, and friends of the university through the University of Florida Alumni Association. Whether you're a current student, recent grad, UF alumni, a Gator by birth or by choice, membership is available to ALL Gators. Join today!
